CHEMICAL HAZARD COMMUNICATION TRAINING

What is Hazard Communication Standard (HCS)?

Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), developed by OSHA, states that companies producing and using hazardous materials must provide employees with information and training on the proper handling and use of these materials.

What is Chemical Hazard Communication (CHC)?

Chemical Hazard Communication (CHC) training is to inform employers and workers about chemical labels and requirements; how to recognize potential hazards in the workplace; and how to avoid injuries and illness from exposures to chemical hazards in the workplace.

Chemical Hazard Communication (CHC) is a tool to keep you safe by explaining what goes on a label, and describing what pictograms are and how to use them.
