National Farmworker Jobs Program Staff Database
NFJP Staff Database
Sign up to be in included in the National Farmworker Jobs Program staff database! By collecting contact information for all staff members, we can better communicate with the community when sending out news, information, and resources. It is also beneficial to document how many employees are working on behalf of farmworkers and in what capacity. Click here and complete the form to be added to the database.
Information submitted will only be used to contact you regarding AFOP or Department of Labor (DOL) sponsored training and technical assistance initiatives.
The Agriculture Connection Resource Site
The Agricultural Connection Resource Site is sponsored by DOL and supports the work of the NFJP and State Monitor Advocates in promoting greater economic opportunities for migrant and seasonal farmworkers. The site contains webinars, presentations, websites, and other resources which are helpful for training staff members, providing services to farmworkers and their families, and finding employment and educational opportunities for program participants. We also encourage staff to submit their own resources to share with the community through the site.
If you have any questions on these or other topics concerning the NFJP, please contact Katy Nelson, Director of Workforce Development at nelson@afop.org
Peer Best Practice Sharing and Review
As the Opportunity Act brings new challenges and opportunities to our member organizations, AFOP is excited to support that transition with the Peer to Peer program. Request a program review in your state or attend a site visit to learn about best practices in programs across the country. Through this initiative, you and your staff can explore strategies to address specific challenges, receive recommendations for effective practices to implement, and share your program and customer successes.
